If you want to embed a Vimeo video in your blog, simply type:
‘bracket’ ‘vimeo’ ‘space’ ‘paste url’ ‘bracket’
And it looks like this:

Thanks heaps, was stuck on this last night and just found your post to correct.
I still can not get the video player to actually appear on my blog. The video always shows up as a text link to my vimeo page. What am I doing wrong?
type this next line:
[vimeo=http://vimeo.com/2810516]
That’s what I do for each vimeo embed, just switch out the url for the vimeo movie you want.
Having the exact same problem as B Hawkins – it’s just showing up as text.
